Charles McCorkle, Founder

The founding father of McCorkle Court Reporters has – through successful bids, state-of-the-art computer equipment, and strategic business decisions – turned the company into one of the largest reporting agencies in the country.

McCorkle began as a family business and remains a family-owned business. In this world of “corporate”, you still can reach a member of the McCorkle family for personal service.

Katherine McCorkle, President & CEO

Kathy’s business philosophy is “quality customer service.” Over the past 37 years that Kathy has been in business, this philosophy and mindset has never changed. Mentored by Charles McCorkle, Kathy learned the business from the ground up and is truly a hands-on owner. Kathy believes strongly in being an ethical businesswoman and is proud to operate her business with a fair, honest and transparent business plan.

Sharon Elaine, Executive Vice President

Sharon has worked alongside Kathy McCorkle for the past 27 years in building McCorkle Court Reporters into the national premier agency it is today. Kathy and Sharon have a unique partnership, working together in all aspects of the business and bringing two different but complimentary ideas to business decisions. Sharon is an advisor to reporters and clients and focuses on company finances, procedural issues and client relations.

Anthony Krause, Vice President

Anthony is the oldest son of Kathy McCorkle and has been “raised” in the family’s business. Anthony started at a very young age accompanying Kathy and Charlie to the office and began his career at the entry level – transcript delivery. After graduating from college, Anthony came into the business and, as a result of working in all departments, Anthony has the experience, training and knowledge of all aspects of the business. Under the tutelage of Kathy and Sharon, along with a young approach to new concepts and ideas, Anthony is well groomed and poised to step into the future of the management of this family business.

Chuck McCorkle, Vice President

Chuck is the youngest son of Charles and Kathy McCorkle and also has had exposure to the business from an early age. Chuck’s focus at the company has primarily been in new technology. Chuck has a keen interest in cutting-edge technology and has researched and implemented new IT systems along with advances in our video and production departments. Being the youngest family member, Chuck brings a new and innovative approach to various aspects of the established family business. Chuck is the youngest member of the management team and is also being prepped to transition into the next generation of the company.

Jeffrey Schneider, SCLA

Jeff Schneider joined the McCorkle team in April, 2009 as Chief Operating Officer. Jeff’s immediate focus is leveraging our National presence and exploring and developing vertical markets. Jeff brings a wealth of Insurance related background to our team, after spending 14 years with Zurich in various P&C Claims Management and Corporate Operation roles. Jeff is a Cum Laude graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, majoring in Aeronautical Science and holding a minor in Aviation Business Administration. He earned a Senior Claims Legal Associate designation from the AEI, is a member of the Chicago RIMS Chapter, Fellow Member with the Counsel on Litigation Management and Member of the Self-Insurance Institute of America.

Jeff is also a veteran of the USAF, honorably discharged after serving 8 years in various aviation assignments around the Globe.
